Two-channel DC motor controller by Cytron equipped with SmartDrive function supporting 4 different communication interfaces. The controller works with motors supplied with voltage from 7 V to 35 V and 30 A for each channel (momentary up to 80 A).
Two-channel DC motor controller by Cytron. It is equipped with Smart Drive function supporting 4 different communication interfaces such as UART, PWM, RC and analog output, thanks to this solution the controller is ideal for building robots controlled by RC remote control. The controller works with motors supplied with voltage from 7 V to 35 V and 30 A per channel (momentary up to 80 A). The board has dimensions 101 x 96 x 42 mm.
The MDDS30 motor controller is equipped with SmartDriveDuo function which allows for communication with the controller via 4 different interfaces such as UART, PWM, RC (radio control) and analog output. Interface selection is made by means of a DIP switch on the board, detailed information on interface selection can be found in the user manual.
The module has an overcurrent protection to protect the controller from damage when the motor stops or when a motor is too large. When a motor tries to draw more current, the controller limits it to the maximum. The controller also has protection against high temperatures. Additionally, the controller is equipped with an under-voltage and over-voltage switch, it is used to switch off the controller output when the output voltage drops below the lower threshold or above the upper threshold.
